We took part as the General Sponsor in the 8th National Engineering Measurements Symposium organized by the Chamber of Surveying and Cadastre Engineers and Yıldız Technical University on October 19 – 21, 2016 at Yıldız Technical University Davutpaşa Campus Culture Congress Center.
The first of the National Engineering Measurements Symposium was held at Yıldız Technical University in 2003 and lastly, the seventh one was held at Hitit University in 2014. The common feature of these Symposiums is that they are practical and organized jointly with our universities. In this context, the eighth of the National Engineering Measurements Symposium, which is periodically organized by the HKMO Engineering Measurements Commission, was held in Istanbul, hosted by Yıldız Technical University, the first host.
“National Engineering Measurements Symposium” is the only and important event in this field in our country. Participating in the Symposium by institutions and organizations, scientists and experts from different professional disciplines and sharing their experience and knowledge will contribute to the achievement of the purpose of the event.
In the symposium; Geodetic Metrology, Geodetic Applications in Engineering Projects, Structural Health monitoring, Geodetic Applications in Disaster Management, Indoor Positioning and Navigation, GNSS Precision Point Positioning Techniques, Atmospheric Estimates with the Help of GNSS Data, Hybrid Positioning Techniques, InSAR Applications, LIDAR Applications, Terrestrial Laser Scanning Applications, It was aimed to share studies such as DRONE Applications, Industrial Measurements, Underground Measurements, Mining Measurements, Hydrographic Measurements, Control and Calibration of Geodetic Instruments, Standardization in Engineering Measurements, Quality Assurance System in Engineering Measurements in a multi-disciplinary, broad-participant environment. On the other hand, a software and hardware fair will be opened within the scope of the Symposium, and it was ensured that the developing technological products were promoted.
